Football and Food!

A few weeks ago we got to go to the state championships for football because Jonathan's alma mater, North Summit High, was playing. And what do ya know? They won! On a field goal with 3 seconds left in the game! It was pretty awesome! We also got to go to the semi-finals with Jonathan's sister Whitney and here we are with Easton. After the game we met up with Jonathan's brother and his wife and their kids and went and got some dinner. It was a blast and Easton loved playing with his cousins!
Here's Aunt Whit and the kids being crazy!
Our sister-in-law is pregnant and due in a few weeks! What's even cooler is that Jonathan's other brother's wife is also pregnant and due in March, so they'll be pretty close!
At this point Jonathan was still sporting the Fu Manchu, but don't worry, after a little encouragement he's decided to put those days behind him. ;)

It was such a fun day and so fun to see family!

I read your post below and it didn't exceed your limit at all!! I thought it was way fun to read and besides - it is your blog, you do what you want. :) I wish I had good advice on tantrums, but Claire didn't ever do that a lot and she is VERY distractable sometimes. She was a time consuming baby, but as a toddler she wasn't too much trouble. Ignoring is true though - my friend's little girl went through a VERY hard tantrum phase and really the best you can do she said was to ignore it the best she could. Good luck! We all have our mommy challenges and tough moments. Congrats on almost graduating - that is exciting!

Oh, you got such cute pictures of our little family!!!! That was a fun night. We'll have to do it again.

I hope you have soooo much fun these next few weeks. We're excited for you!

As for the tantrum, every child is different, and what works for one, does not necessarily work for another. All of our yahoos are so different, we did something different with each one. Good luck! Easton is as adorable as ever!!
