These pictures are in sequential order. First a little taste... And he just can't get enough! I knew we had a sugar addict on our hands!

Hey! You're so sweet, thanks for the compliments. Looking at your recent pict ures, I thought I saw the Orem 4plex in the back ground. It made me miss our's soooooo much ! That was the best ward and so many good memories from when Zak and I were first married. I loved that place. Congrats on law school! That will be fun to live in Vegas. Good luck!
About camera settings... A couple rules of thumb for me:
1. I never use the flash (unless its at night and then I usually just pull out my point and shoot)
2. I like to keep my settings on apeture priority (A on the dial on the top part of your camera) or manuel. I like to keep my apeture at a smaller number (larger opening in the lens) so that my backgrounds are out of focus.
3. Pay attention to your ISO. Outside keep it below 400. Inside 400.
4. White balance is so important. I keep mine on daylight or cloudy most of the time because I really only like to use it during the day with lots of light. If I do use it inside with tungsten or flouresent lighting, I make sure to always switch my WB to that setting.
5. Shutter speeds... depending on the light available, I like to have my shutter speeds above 1/60. Anything above 1/100 will help reduce any blur.
6. Save up for a good lens. Depending on what you like to photograph, lenses are the best thing you can buy. I love close ups and macro shots so I just bought a 50mm lens. It is so amazing for face shots, food, etc. But for big groups or landscapes I would get something different. Like a 18-55mm. Lenses are what can make a good photographer great !
Hope that helped a little bit. Please ask me anything you have questions on. I'd love to help.
